Donavan Troy Vezina

Associate Tax Specialist

TroyAs the Associate Tax Specialist for Hartmann & Associates, it’s Troy’s job to gather all relevant information and then use that to create strategic solutions for clients throughout the tax preparation process.

Troy brings a wealth of experience to this position that includes an extensive customer service history as well as extensive training in computer programming, administration, networks and applications. Troy is an honorably discharged veteran having served as an electronic technician in the US Navy for over seven years.
He is currently enrolled in the Masters in Business Administration degree program at Western Governors University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. He is an Enrolled Agent and a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the National Association of Tax Preparers and Toastmasters.

Away from work, Troy keeps busy as an ASA umpire, by playing in local softball leagues and enjoying just about any outdoor activity our wonderful local year-round climate allows. And both the San Francisco Giants and 49er’s have an avid fan in Troy!


Ralph J. Hartmann

Ralph2Ralph Hartmann is a seasoned accounting, tax, and business consulting professional of more than 35 years. As the founder of Hartmann and Associates in 1978, he has helped successfully guide and advise thousands of businesses and individuals in bookkeeping, accounting, taxation and financial planning of all types.

Armed with the ability to first see problems then formulate creative solutions though the study and understanding of financials, accounting practices and taxation, he is consistently able to achieve his goal of providing financial peace of mind to his clients. Whether it’s brainstorming in a one-on-one session or engaging an entire audience via formal presentation, his passion is for understanding and driving success in business.

Hartmann has a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a minor in Accounting from Woodbury University in Los Angeles, California and has participated in both Rapport Leadership and Youth Leadership training. He is a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers, National Association of Enrolled Agents, and the National Society of Accountants and has been a member, board member, and chairman of the board of the Reno, Sparks Chamber of Commerce.

As one of ten accomplished children, Ralph credits his parents with instilling in him the overwhelming desire to understand what makes a business successful. He shares this passion with his life’s companion Linda and their dynamic family. He can always be counted on to share his considerable accounting and taxation expertise in both professional and educational venues. In his spare time, Ralph enjoys tinkering with anything mechanical and expanding his creative writing abilities through cowboy poetry.


Barbara Eldridge

Receptionist, Administrative Assistant

BarbaraAs the first voice you hear when calling Hartman and Associates, receptionist Barbara Eldridge is pleased to initiate the client-centric experience. Applying her experience in both banking and escrow and title, she further provides administrative support to the office. When not supporting colleagues and clients at H&A, Barbara enjoys taking advantage of Reno’s 300 sunny days a year in a myriad of outdoor activities.
